This place has really good food and they know how to cook steak👌. We're from out of state and just passing by so we ordered to go . We ordered beef enchiladas rib eye and was going to buy meal for our dog and they have actual burger patty for your fur baby for only $2😉 .

Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere! They allow truck parking and the owner said to stay as long as needed if the weather got bad! Very rare to receive such a welcome from a business to oversize loads and pilot cars!! We will stop every time we come through!!

Grear salad 🥗 bar, and jalapeno bacon cheese burger. Yummo

Always had bad experiences with their waiters/waitresses. Food is a bit too pricey for the amount served.

Great food nice clean place wonderful employees that go above and beyond plenty parking even for truckers it's an all around great place to try out

The salad bar was fresh, not large, but plenty of choices. Our meal came out quickly, was hot and fresh. We would stop here again. Prices was reasonable for the food.

We had a rather large group of truck drivers and pilot car drivers everyone ordered differently steaks were awesome. Mexican food amazing. Chicken fried steak a little greasy and catfish amazing. All in all out of 14 people food was awesome

Had the salmon. Salmon was seared perfect and it tasted like it was seared where a steak was previously which added some good flavor.

Our family loves everything on the menu here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The salad bar is amazing.

One of the best steaks I have ever had. It was cooked exactly as I expected. It had good seasoning and was very tender and juicy. My three friends were also extremely happy with all of their meals. Maxey's is located on our truck driving route so we always stop when we go that way.

Food was good as it always is. Service was slow as all get out. The group I was with was ready to walk out. 10 minutes to get seated, then another 20 minutes before she took our order and then 45 minutes to get our food.

Not what I would call a steakhouse, more like a diner. Food was just ehhh. But being in a small town it is one of the better options.

Just as good as I remembered it! Best damn steak you will ever have in the State of Texas! Still wish y'all would come to Austin...Thanks Chase for the wonderful hospitality. Y'all know we will definitely make the drive back!

Awful service. We were in there for an hour and was the only table there. Food was awful and the waitress made a post on her personal Facebook page that one of our friends shared that was rude and demeaning. Even though we still tipped her well for her mediocre service!

Maxey's was very very good!! The enviroment was nice and clean and decorated very cute!! The cowboy fries were amazing ( a must try) . the salad bar was clean and stocked it was very good. I ordered a chicken fried steak with a baked potato that was very good. Everything came out quick , the waitress was the sweetest ever. All around good place. It was my first time and it definetly wont be my last.
